In this installment, we chat with Sarah Buczynski, a Nest Realtor in Harrisonburg.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area? How long have you lived here? Sarah Buczynski: My parents are native to the area, and I lived in Harrisonburg and New Market when I was very young, and continued to spend time in the area visiting my grandparents. Most recently I resided in Crozet, VA and sold real estate in and around Charlottesville. In 2022, my husband Mike and I moved here with our two children. We live in Singers Glen in a farmhouse built by my great, great uncle in 1898.
NR: How did you get into real estate? How long have you been practicing? SB: A friend (who is a Charlottesville Nester) encouraged me to get started in real into real estate almost a decade ago. I have been licensed since 2016.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage? SB: Nest’s marketing and branding are the top in the industry, and Nest is known both here and in Charlottesville
NR: What’s your favorite part of being an agent? SB: Being a trusted advisor during one of life’s biggest decisions.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients? SB: I especially love helping first-time home buyers.
NR: What are five adjectives to describe you? SB: Persistent, Organized, Attentive, Cooperative, Reliable
NR: Who would be your dream client? SB: Anyone who is open-minded and realistic.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be? SB: Make sure you have a great team around you – Realtor®, lender, insurance agent, inspector, title company.
NR: What’s your favorite season? Why? SB: Whichever season is just around the corner! Each season offers something special.
